Female TV presenters

Why is it that the UK has some of the worst female TV presenters? At the top of the loathsome list is the highly irritating, very untalented Davina McCall.Whenever I accidentally come across this screaming, shouting attention seeking idiot, I envy those who live abroad and have never heard of her.Add to the list Ferne Cotton (relative of the famous Cotton broadcasting family, I wonder how she got the job). Her interviewing techniques are second to all. When she was talking to the crowd at Live 8, all she could ask was what people were feeling that day, always getting the response,"terrific". It's the kind of thing most people are told not to do on their first day in hospital/student radio.
Add to this list of shouting untalented fools, Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, the only question left is how these nobodies keep getting work.Believe me, there's no jealousy, I have no desire whatsoever to appear on TV.I just don't want these untalented people on there either.

Jade Goody

Here's a story, a UK reality television star, famous for being stupid at 23, dead by 27.It's a tragic tale, and at her funeral, the streets were crowded with people reacting as if some kind of a saint had died. It's the kind of story if you'd read it in a book, you wouldn't believe it.
To show the sheer hypocrisy of the UK newspaper industry, she was hated before she became terminally ill, they accused her of being a bullying racist, because of her behaviour on the same reality show which made her name. This same programme ironically destroyed her.If you look at any footage with a clear head, you will find that whilst racist language was being used, it wasn't from her.
My point about her is she said her stupidity was because of the British education system. What nonsense. The fact that she didn't know basic geography and history was not because she wasn't taught well enough. It was obviously because she didn't pay attention. We all knew the types at school, chatting away throughout class, disrupting the lesson and not learning a thing. Is that a poor education or a lazy person? A poor education is experienced by children in the third world who have to work to support the family because they can't afford to send them to school.
And whilst some of the UK showed the same kind of grief that mirrored the death of Diana Princess of Wales in 1997, it's worth pointing out that Jade ignored warnings from her doctor to return for a test. It's a tragic case, but we're not dealing with a saint.

Excuses excuses

Reasons radio stations give for not taking the show.
1) We're a local community station and only broadcast our own shows. Upon further investigation, most of their output consists of continuous bland chart hits which wouldn't sound out of place on a bog standard FM station, and their presenters are so appalling, even their own families wouldn't tune in. And they wonder why they can't raise advertising revenue. When competition is so hot, people aren't going to tolerate bad presenters, even if they are local.
2) We already have a rock show. Upon further investigation, these brands of locally produced rock shows have little or no production or knowledge of the music. The presenter sounds they'd be happier presenting an 1980's pop music programme. Here's a tip, when listening to one of these shows, notice how after a while the entire conversation turns to them and what hard week they've had, or reading out some boring information we've all heard before. Rock music presentation needs preparation and production. And the audience deserves respect.
3) The show already goes out on too many stations. So these people are turning their noses up at success. How narrow minded.
So there we are, just wanted to get that of my chest. I'll have to tell you the best and worst programmes out there available for your listening pleasure.
